How do you start creating with a tool you donβt know (yet) anything about?
Every Winter since 2019 I design a Christmas Card I send to my closest friends and family. The depicted theme is always the same: a Christmas tree. The medium and process vary every year depending on what I am artistically exploring or creatively learning at that moment.
In the first year I did a collage with sections of celebrated landmarks in London (The Big Ben Tower, The Shard, and the London Eye). The following year I designed an abstract tree with a triangular pattern. Last year I did a lino print design.
This year I am working on a parametric and generative Christmas tree.
